Bio

I’ve always been involved in sports from a very young age. After I graduated from high school I started down the wrong path struggling with addiction for three years, went through a lot of trauma no one should ever go through. I relapsed twice until I finally decided it was time to be healthy. Physically and mentally. So started lifting, eating and stumbled upon powerlifting. I immediately fell in love with the sport. Over the years I have come to realize that powerlifting and strength training saved me physically and mentally. I fell in love with not only the sport but the community after hearing so many others stories it showed me I wasn’t alone and there were others out there who struggled too. I have learned so many things from attending seminars, from coaches, and doing my own research. That’s when I decided I wanted to help others achieve their goals. Watching others grow, get stronger and overcome obstacles made me want to become a strength coach. Watching friends, and random people strive in the gym and meets makes me happy! When I work with clients, I’m not just a coach that writes their program. I am someone who cares about them as a person not just with training but nutrition, sleeping habits and even being a mentor. We all start somewhere! I am excited to work with others at Silverback Strength and be apart of something big. Remember we all start somewhere! Are you ready to take the next step?
